25. Jimmy J. Jazz - Facecömic: Google Street View (the 25th of November, 2011)
Last time Google seriously pissed me off was their "Google Street View" camera operation. They took pictures of my house and published them to public Internet without asking my permission first.
I had to contact to Google personally and demand them to take all of my pictures away one by one. This took them almost three weeks. What a nice planning tool for burglar!
Google argued that their 360 degree camera took pictures of public places anyone can enter. Their camera is at 2,5 meters high. I don't have any friends that long, do you?
I think that if someone takes a picture of my property, he or she would have to ask my permission to publish it in public. Google didn't, and I'm afraid that other companies will follow.
